Amazing waterspout 'tornado' caught on camera off Australia

Dramatic footage filmed from a helicopter by Australia's Channel 7 shows a series of powerful waterspouts near the coastal suburb of Terrigal, on Australia's New South Wales coast. Several powerful columns of swirling air could be seen blasting along the water's surface near the coastline. Channel 7 claimed the spouts reached heights of up to 600 metres (nearly two thousand feet), but dissipated as they neared land. The natural wonders came as strong winds and heavy rain also lashed other parts of the state, causing flash flooding and traffic chaos in Sydney.

World's Largest Cruise Ship Oasis of the Sea's Arrives at Port Everglade...

The 225,000-tonne leviathan was shown unveiled at Fort Lauderdale, Florida, by the US company Royal Carbbean .

Until now, the inside of the 1,187ft long ship, which can carry 6,296 passengers, has been a closely guarded secret as it traveled through the Baltic and across the Atlantic for its launch.

It even made a brief stop in the Solent earlier this month, but no-one was allowed to look inside.

The ship was given a glamorous launch live on US television. Pop star Rihanna performed a concert on board and two of the ship was even given two "godmothers" - for the ship were named as the actress Jane Seymour and the singer Gloria Estefan.

The £800 million vessel is 40 per cent bigger than any other cruise ship afloat and it has the "Central Park" style open air space aboard about size of a football pitch with its own micro-climate and trees.

World's Top Ten Sniper Rifles

My personal opinion on the deadliest 'toys' in the battlefield...

#1 is there due to it's incredible range, and especially due to it's hability to relieve the Sniper of all those time consuming calculations and equations, making the shoot a lot easier and (probably) more accurate.

#2 is there due to all you may see: range, accuracy, big and deadly round but mostly because it was with that rifle that the TWO longest shoots known to man were made.
Both shoots in the same operations from TWO CANADIANS in the same sniper team. Corporal Rob Furlong made a 2430 meters shoot on a moving target (3rd shoot the taliban was killed) and the other was Master Corporal Arron Perry made a 2310 meters kill.

No matter how good and accurate might a Sniper Rifle be it's ALLWAYS up to the SNIPER to make that ONE SHOOT KILL count...

I apologize for the low quality of the videoclip of the HK PSG1...

Please enjoy...

Any doubts feel free to post it...

ATK - XM-25 Counter Defilade Target Engagement (CDTE) Rifle [480p]

The U.S. Army is moving forward with an operational evaluation in Afghanistan, of the new, XM-25 Counter Defilade Target Engagement (CDTE) weapon system. Following this current evaluation, the Army will decide on the future procurement of 12,500 CDTE systems to be issued beginning in early 2014.

Under the recent evaluation, several XM-25 prototypes arrived in Afghanistan in Nov 2010. These weapons are being carried actively on patrols, and in various combat outposts. The next phase for the XM-25 program is to build a large quantity of production representative weapons and ammunition in 2011 to deploy into Afghanistan for further combat assessments. Under the planned procurement, the new weapons will be issued to Special Forces team and to infantry squads, to receive one XM-25 each.

Parallel to the development of the weapon system, ATK is also developing a new family of ammunition. L3 Communications is the subcontractor in charge of the weapon's optronic fire control system.
